FIRE INSURANCE

FIRE INSURANCE

When you plan for a business or hire a building for the same a few points must be taken care of like building insurance, fire insurance etc. The fire insurance is an important aspect to cope up with the expenses that may occur due to fire. When a building is covered under this policy all the damages, losses or accident occurred due to fire can be incurred.
Sometimes the property insurance includes the fire insurance but it can be purchased separately too. The uncertainties related to fire are proportional to the cost of the policy which can be decreased by taking the precautions. The policy has to be read thoroughly because there are a few exclusions for which no security is provided by the insurance company. For example if the fire incident is due to any natural calamity then it is not included in the policy.
If you are planning for the fire insurance you need to contact the fire insurance office. You will get a form which should be filled by you only. You should be honest and provide the right information if you don’t want to lose anything. The information provided should be relevant and true. Prior to getting the policy you will undergo a thorough enquiry and when the official is fully satisfied then only you can get the fire insurance policy signed.
A person called surveyor who is specially appointed for survey, will visit your place and inspect the whole building or property and figure out the uncertainties or degree of risks of fire. This will decide whether you can get the fire insurance or not. The insurer is the sole decider based upon the report of surveyor. If the insurer is satisfied, the proposal gets the consent and you get the fire insurance for your property. The rate of premium is fixed based upon the report along with the terms and conditions.
